Adele De Angelis MSPT
Adele graduated from Northeastern University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitative Science and earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2006. Adele has primarily worked in private practice and held a clinic director position for 10 years. She has a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine and has treated people of all ages with various diagnoses and surgeries.
She is certified in dry needling, spinal manipulations, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Integrating current research with years of clinical experience with manual techniques, patient education, and therapeutic modalities and exercise, Adele designs individual treatment programs to help patients overcome injuries, restore their optimal levels of function, and, ultimately, enhance their quality of life.
Adele founded Maximize Physical Therapy, a private pay concierge mobile PT company, to re-establish the quality of care people receive from physical therapists. Many insurance companies have rules that guide and restrict patient care. And as insurance reimbursement for physical therapy continues to decrease, PT practices are forced to see more patients per day which leads to far less time spent with each patient. And that leads to a significant decline in care and patients not achieving their goals. Consequently, this costs the patient more money in the long-term: more co-pays, extra doctor appointments, more surgeries or procedures, loss of wages at work, adaptive equipment, etc, etc, etc. It also costs a lot of time. Time you could be spending with family, friends, hobbies, travel, or whatever makes you happy!
With Maximize Physical Therapy, Adele spends a full hour, one-on-one, with each client without being constrained by the insurance companies dictating what they feel is adequate treatment. People have better outcomes and satisfaction with concierge mobile PT as each appointment is utilized to its fullest extent with individualized treatment plans.
